Sports Therapy combines detailed assessment, hands-on treatment and progressive rehabilitation to help you understand your pain, recover from injury and return to the activities that matter to you.
You do not need to be an athlete to benefit. Appointments are suitable for anyone experiencing pain, restricted movement or an injury that is affecting their training, work or everyday life.

Sports Therapy may be suitable for:
Treatment is guided by your individual needs rather than following a one-size-fits-all approach.
Your appointment will begin with a conversation about your symptoms, how they are affecting you and what you would like to return to doing.
A physical assessment may then be used to explore your movement, strength and function and identify factors that could be contributing to the problem.
Your treatment may include a combination of:
The techniques used will depend on your assessment, preferences and stage of recovery.
Hands-on treatment can help reduce pain, stiffness and muscle tension, but lasting recovery often requires more than treating the painful area alone.
Where appropriate, your appointment will also include practical advice and exercises designed to improve movement, rebuild strength and help you return to activity with greater confidence.
Your rehabilitation advice will be realistic, manageable and adapted as you progress.
Choose Sports Therapy if you have a specific injury, persistent pain or a problem that requires assessment, treatment and rehabilitation.
Choose Sports Massage if you mainly want hands-on treatment for muscular tension, soreness, recovery or general maintenance.
If you are unsure which appointment to book, please get in touch and we can help you choose.
